Jackie joined O’Brien Law LLC as a Business Immigration Attorney in 2016. Jackie counsels clients on employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters. She has represented individuals, small businesses and multinational corporations across numerous industries. Jackie has extensive experience managing and preparing visa petitions for the H-1B, H-1B1, H-2B, TN, L and O Nonimmigrant Classifications and permanent residency (green card) applications. Jackie has represented our clients at in-person green card interviews at USCIS service centers across the United States and is an expert in the green card final interview process. Jackie also counsels our clients on matters related to I-9 enforcement and compliance, government audits, current U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS) and Department of Labor (DOL) adjudications trends and evidentiary standards, and more.
Before joining O’Brien Law, Jackie worked for U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services in the Office of Policy and Strategy, Business and Foreign Workers Division, where she worked to shape and define USCIS nonimmigrant visa policies and regulations under the Obama Administration. Jackie holds a Juris Doctor degree from The George Washington University Law School and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science from Suffolk University. She is a member of the Bar of the Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia. Jackie is also a member of the American Bar Association, and a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
